Omaha, Nebraska¹s Cursive have been consistently evolving and innovating their indie/rock sound since their inception over nine years ago, and their latest vinyl release is no exception. Combining two CD-singles originally released by Saddle Creek in support of their most recent album, The Ugly Organ, this limited picture disc 10" record contains two phenomenal album tracks, ‘Art Is Hard’ and ‘The Recluse’, along with three rarely-heard B-sides, ‘Sinner¹s Serenade’, ‘Once’ and ‘Adapt’.

Creating an indefinable sound, Cursive is amongst a rare breed of bands that mixes the finest elements of indie rock¹s myriad of sub-genres, managing to pull on one's emotions without being overtly wimpy about it.
